Radio DJ's

Tyrone Sitting Eagle

Oki! I’m Tyrone Sitting Eagle, Media Coordinator here at CFXX 104.7 FM – The Nation’s Station. You can catch me on air from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., sharing music, stories, and updates from across Siksika Nation and beyond. Every day, I strive to bring a voice to our community — one that highlights our people, culture, and the heartbeat of Siksika.

Outside the studio, I’m also a music producer and powwow dancer, traveling across North America to take part in events that celebrate Indigenous culture and artistry. Under my producer name Eleeus, I’ve worked with artists and projects that fuse traditional sounds with modern beats — creating music that connects generations and keeps our culture alive in new ways.

When I’m not behind the mic or on the road, I’m proud to be a husband and father to three amazing kids who inspire me every day. My family keeps me grounded and reminds me why I do what I do — to represent our people, uplift our voices, and continue sharing our stories through media and music.

Tune in to CFXX 104.7 FM to hear great music, local stories, and everything happening around the Nation. I’m honored to be part of a team that celebrates who we are as Siksika people — strong, proud, and always moving forward.

Shilo Clark

Shilo Clark was born and raised in Moh’kinstsis (Calgary), where he was lovingly brought up by his grandmother, Sally Black. He began his education at Piitoayisis Family School, which gave him the unique opportunity to connect with his culture in an urban setting. Shilo then attended Central Memorial High School, where his voice became a familiar presence through the morning announcements. His dedication to communication and community earned him a Public Relations award, affirming his natural gift for storytelling and outreach.

After high school, Shilo pursued theatre studies at Mount Royal University, an experience that deepened his creativity and confidence in expression. His professional journey led him to Blackfoot Crossing Historical Park, where he worked as the Marketing and Communications Coordinator for four years. During this time, Shilo contributed to cultural programming, public engagement, and organizational growth.

Today, Shilo serves as a Communications Coordinator with Siksika Nation Tribal Administration. This role has been both fulfilling and inspiring, allowing him to bring forward the skills and experiences he has gathered while continuing to grow professionally. Shilo remains passionate about using communication to uplift stories, strengthen connections, and support his community’s future.

Marcus Smith

My name is Marcus Smith, and I am a proud member of the Siksika Nation.

I first joined Siksika Media in April 2025 through the Meaningful Futures

program at Siksika Employment and Training. During that time, I gained

hands-on experience and built a strong foundation in sound engineering

and media production.

Now stepping into my new role as a Media Specialist, I’m excited to take on

greater responsibilities in supporting community storytelling through radio,

audio production, and digital media.

Beyond media, I’ve been actively involved in the local sports community,

volunteering as a DJ at hockey games and tournaments since 2017. This

experience has allowed me to connect with fans and players alike, while

also serving as Equipment Manager for the Siksika Buffaloes Senior AA

Hockey Club.

I’m passionate about using media as a platform to uplift Indigenous voices

and connect with our people through sound and story.
